Boys Minor Recap

A two-way tie atop the standings sets the stage for an interesting Sunday in the Boys Minor division, with Mariner and Central knotted at nine points each. 

Both teams have gone 3-0 thus far, with Mariner propelled by Brody Dustin’s six points and five points each from Noah Urness and Danny Nelson. 

Central downed Williams 4-2 to start Saturday before slipping past Kellogg 5-4 in the nightcap. The Trojans have outscored their three opponents by a score of 16-8. 

Kellogg and Williams remain tied for second in the standings with identical 1-2-0-0 records, and West brings up the rear with four losses. 


Goaltender Charles Kubelbeck backstopped Mariner to a pair of wins on Saturday.
